Confession: 1
I'm not completely sure about this... The thought came to me on the elevator looking at a thin chick..... Not completely sure if this is how I really feel.... I have put a lot of thought and effort in my lifestyle.... BUT..... If I was a thin as I wanted to be, I might not be a vegetarian... Its not like becoming a vegetarian got me to my goal weight.... It did free my mind when I stopped eating the wrong foods.... But unless I was as thin as I'd think I'd like to be.... I will never know.... i don't think its possible for me to beas thin as I dream.... I'm big bone-ded.

Well Queen, first I'd like to give you props for even making such a confession on such a public forum. Most wouldn't so that takes courage and gets props from me.
Question, did you actually lose much from becoming a vegetarian? Reason I ask, is because I stopped eating meat approx a year ago as a new years resolution, and found to have lost only about 5 lbs total.
And now that the end of the year is approaching, I can't front I am contemplating going back to eating Chicken and Turkey.
I am a terrible cook and am finding that my lifestyle and work makes it very limited in my choices of what to eat. I know you supposed to eat to live and not live to eat, but I am partly unhappy with my eating and it's based on a lack of diversity and frankly yo, I'm not enjoying my meals like I used to. Also I've lost muscle mass and feel not_as_strong as I used to.
The changes from me stopping to eat meat I am assuming took time, so I can't really say, "Yo Sun, I feel WAYY better not eating meat no more" I feel pretty much the same. Or at least I think so, I am thinking I may start eating chicken and turkey and see if I actually feel a difference and if it makes me put those lbs back on. If it does then I'll stop and wont go back again.
Did you actually feel an immediate difference when you changed your diet? I've always drunk allot of water and tried to eat as fresh and clean as possible, so maybe my system prior to stopping wasn't in as bad a shape for me to see/feel a significant difference.
Just curious if your experience was the same and more importantly can you explain what you experienced if it was any different?
Thanks and Peace.

I have been a vegetarian for nearly a decade now. I did lose 20lbs at the onset, but have since found them. I do feel much better than I did when I consumed meat and I have learned to vary my cooking. I realized a few years ago, that even if I became anorexic, I would still be a "thick" anorexic person. I'm just built like that. But it still doesn't stop me from losing time longing for that which will never exist.
This way of eating is not for every one. I have met quite a few people that got very sick from eating like I do, even with supplementation. Every one is different. If you would like some ideas and recipes, hit me up and I will share with you what I consume weekly. Trust me, not all the recipes are difficult.
Peace,
Serenity
